Hello 🌿 APPETITE is an independent food and drink publication founded in late 2019 at the Aoyama Farmers Market in Tokyo. Inspired by the producers, chefs and community in and around the markets — which expands across Japan and internationally — we started to gather and share their stories.
Our appetite is not just a survival instinct, but a desire to know more about our food — the people, the culture, the ecosystems that nurture it. Whether we dig, grow, cook, eat or write, our appetites unite us.
We are a team of two (@dontcallmeshellyeither @jessie_tttt), supported by a number of talented contributors and volunteers.
